Psychologist

Hi there, I'm Autumn! I believe people have the capacity for amazing growth and change, and my role is to partner with you on this journey. When I'm not practicing therapy, I'm partnering and parenting. For fun, I prioritize friendships and enjoy engaging my creative side by designing on Canva! My approach I strive to be a genuine, open, active therapist, driven by my lived experiences and professional expertise. I hold a PhD in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand where you want to go, and help you get there! I am rooted in empirically based therapeutic interventions but believe meaningful therapy ultimately depends on the relationship and space for vulnerability and exploration of your core self. My focus I’ve developed clinical expertise in interpersonal trauma and health psychology. My work now focuses on women’s health and hormone health across the lifespan. I help women navigate challenges related to family building (fertility, pregnancy, postpartum), parenting, caregiving/sandwiching, career concerns, life transitions, and sexual health (including desire/libido and pain). I have specialized training in perimenopause and menopause and am passionate about helping midlife women not just navigate but thrive through this phase. My communication style I listen deeply and engage openly. I use metaphors to aid understanding and often share them with clients. I'm not afraid to say what needs to be said and am genuine with warmth and care. I also share psychoeducational information clients find helpful and make interdisciplinary recommendations when appropriate (e.g., working with fertility and perimenopause clients).
