“The staff at the 92nd street location are all personable and welcoming. You can tell the high quality of a facility by the way you are initially greeted, and when I had my first appointment, I was greeted with welcoming smiles and polite attentive service from Sasheka and Raheim. My first meeting with my occupational therapist, Casey Young, was amazing! She made me feel comfortable and less anxious about my hand injury and is encouraging about my healing. My friends are amazed that I look forward to going to every OT session. Having been in the human services sector and the hospitality industry, I know how important it is to respect clients/customers. StarPro 92nd street have the most professional staff and they naturally exude great customer service. I recommend them highly.”

I was in OT for the purpose of strengthening my fingers and wrists so they would become more mobile and less painful than they had been for a number of years. I should have been in OT ages ago after having developed arthritis from repetitive motion injuries in my work as a Broadway dresser. Casey (a.k.a. Cassandra) Young immediately took me in “hand,” set up a treatment plan for me and made my time there both constructive and positive, proving that my specific injuries could and would be addressed. She’s been dedicated to doing her best to challenge me and to keep me focused by being upbeat, and always gracious. She instilled in me a positive mindset by creating an atmosphere where I looked forward to using the many devices she provided to exercise my hands and fingers. It was a new concept for me to do that. Now based on her encouragement, I use some of the same tools at home. What’s most important from my work with her is that I must never take for granted the use of my fingers and hands as essential assets in my daily life.
