More about Charlotte Mathew, PT, DPT
Over the years, my appreciation for physical activity has grown tremendously. I love strength and conditioning at the gym, outdoor activities with family and friends, and even quick at-home workouts. Once I understood how movement can be used as medicine, I wanted to pursue a career that taught people how to move their bodies optimally.
I attended SUNY Oneonta, where I majored in Biology and received a Bachelor of Science degree. Afterwards, I attended New York Medical College (NYMC) and received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2023. During my time at NYMC, I had a variety of clinical experiences that taught me skills in orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and pediatrics, to name a few. These were valuable learning opportunities that helped diversify my skills.
As a physical therapist, one of my biggest priorities is to connect with my patients and to gain their trust. Additionally, I value evidence-based practice, which allows for quality physical therapy treatment. Throughout my career, I aim to keep learning new techniques and grow as a PT.
