Hi there, I'm Constance!
Constance Pritchett is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Atlanta, Georgia who has been working with children and families in the helping profession since 2010. Constance's treatment philosophy is rooted in the belief that when we choose to look inward, we are able to live our best life. Therapy is the collaborative process of looking inward. My approach to therapy is person-centered. I believe in providing unconditional positive regard with all clients and utilize a strength based approach in helping my client achieve their therapeutic goals.
My client focus varies based on the client's needs. I am trained in various modalities in order to provide the most tailored approach as each client is different. I am trained in Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Trauma Focused CBT, Sandtray, and Play Therapy.
Communication comes in various forms. Not everyone is ready or comfortable talking about their problems and internal conflict. I aim to create a non-judgmental and welcoming environment with each client to help them find the best way to communicate.
I have a passion for understanding the human condition and helping others navigate their experience along the way.
Goal setting is collaborative and individualized for the client. We work together utilizing a strength-based approach and identify specific, measurable, attainable, and realistic (SMART) goals.
In our first session (and every session) my clients can expect to be heard - plain and simple. This world can be an overwhelming place and I believe the therapeutic space should be one where clients can find an oasis amongst the painful realities of our society.
