Psychotherapist
2744 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA
I am a counselor with more than 25 years of experience in person-centered services and have been providing psychotherapy since 2017. I work with adults and couples who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or important life transitions. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and direct. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), EMDR, and person-centered therapy to help clients gain insight, develop practical skills, and move toward meaningful change. Therapy with me is both reflective and active—we work to understand what has shaped your experience while also identifying concrete ways to move forward. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the direction they want their lives to take. Together we clarify what matters most to you and develop a path toward greater clarity, resilience, and personal alignment. I have worked across a wide range of mental health and human service settings, including outpatient clinics, community organizations, and national disaster recovery initiatives. My practice now focuses on one-on-one counseling with adults and couples seeking insight, growth, and lasting change. Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy sailing, sports, travel, and time with my daughter. These experiences continue to shape my appreciation for resilience, perspective, and the many ways people navigate life’s challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Are you navigating a major life transition, feeling stuck, or struggling to make sense of past experiences—while craving clarity about the road ahead? Many of my clients are high-achievers, professionals, and their families, who carry heavy responsibilities yet feel overwhelmed by the chapter they’re in—career shifts, relationship changes, leadership stress, or a sense that life no longer fits. They want to understand themselves more deeply, feel grounded, and move forward with purpose. My warm, direct, collaborative style offers a space to reflect, regroup, build resilience, and choose a more meaningful path forward. My integrated approach is tailored to your needs. I believe real change happens when we gain insight into the patterns that no longer serve us — and learn new ways of responding to life’s challenges. To me, those challenges are not detours. They’re waypoints: signposts offering us a chance to choose a more authentic, more empowered path forward. Life’s turning points can feel isolating, but you don’t have to move through them alone. I offer a grounded, collaborative space to help you understand what’s shifting, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with purpose. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
