Courtney is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master’s in counseling from Colorado Christian University under the training of author Larry Crabb. With 18+ years of experience in private practice, Courtney works from a comphrehensive relational approach that integrates both theology and psychology. It is her belief that we are relational beings and when our core relationships are off (God, others, or ourselves), we miss out on living as we are designed to live. One of her greatest joys is to establish a relationship with a client in order to gently meet them in their pain and that through deep reflection, repentance and healing, her clients will have a deeper sense of the grace and truth found in the Gospel of Christ.
Courtney’s areas of focus are working with sexual trauma, women’s issues, teenagers, depression and anxiety related issues, and providing spiritual direction. She loves helping individuals strengthen their marriages and helping families that are broken.
Courtney also has a deep passion for international missions/counseling and has had the wonderful privilege to conduct counseling education in the areas of parenting adolescents, forgiveness, grief, and marriage in the countries of Mexico and Rwanda.
