About Dr. Daniel Trevizo

Dr. Daniel Trevizo is our standout physical therapist who joined our team in September 2020. Daniel received his Bachelor's in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from California State University, Los Angeles, in 2015, and then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX, in 2020. He has 3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and has worked with populations in geriatrics, weekend warriors, and elite athletics. Before receiving his doctoral degree, he led a team of students from his alma mater to help re-establish a free, structured exercise program called 100 Citizens (now called 3 Wins Fitness), which was delivered to the underserved community of East Los Angeles. When it comes to physical therapy, his philosophy is that the human body is an amazingly adaptable body and can do wonderful things with the proper coaching and guidance. He believes in being a patient advocate: doing whatever it takes to make sure the patient receives the best care tailored for them. It is also important to him that the patient is involved in the direction of their care, as it can help drive patient independence and empowerment. Dr. Trevizo's passions include staying active with kettlebell workouts and Olympic weightlifting, playing golf, watching baseball, and spending time with his family.
