Dr. Derrick McQuiston is a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) and Doctor of Physical Therapy, a credential held by fewer than 9% of PTs in the country. A graduate of NYU’s DPT program — where he earned the Elizabeth C. Addoms Award for Excellence in Academic and Clinical Performance — he is currently a PhD student at NYU Steinhardt, advancing the science of physical therapy and rehabilitation.
He works with all kinds of patients: people dealing with pain that won’t go away, those recovering from injury or surgery, and anyone who wants to move better and feel stronger in daily life. Whatever your starting point, his goal is simple — help you get out of pain and get back to the life you want to live.
His approach goes beyond symptom relief. Derrick takes the time to understand why you’re hurting, combines hands-on treatment with targeted strength and movement work, and builds a plan focused on long-term results — not just short-term fixes. Before becoming a PT, he was a college athlete himself, playing football and throwing hammer on the track and field team at Wabash College, which means he understands physical setbacks firsthand.

Fantastic and friendly experience. Had major surger on my right knee and was required to start PT sessions. Luckily I was able to find Derrick on short notice to begin my healing process. i am looking forward to continue with him forward.
