About Dr. Dustin Blankenship
Dr. Blankenship is the founder and owner of NEO Physical Therapy. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Texas Tech University and went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern).
Before opening his own practice, Dr. Blankenship served as the Clinic Director for a North Texas outpatient Physical Therapy clinic.
With over 10 years of experience, he has practiced physical therapy in Texas, Tennessee, and Hawaii.

Dr. Blankenship is legitimately my new hero. I have been in and out of chiropractors and massage therapists for a solid year with no actual help, but after one visit I am already feeling tremendous relief and positivity for continued progress. The office was easy to find and parking was great. The staff was friendly and the lobby was cozy. Dr. B was polite and extremely personable, but most importantly, clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain things in detail without rushing, and he tolerated my lack of coordination and numerous questions with patience. The experience was not only tremendously helpful, it was surprisingly pleasant. I feel very lucky to have found him - highly recommend.

I've been to a number of PTs for athletic injuries over the years so I knew the elements I was looking for in a PT to help my rehab after this most recent knee accident. Dustin exceeded my expectations. In most of my experience, you only get to spend 5-10 mins with your PT, while the assistants show you what exercises to do and have to balance multiple patients. Dustin is on his own so he can spend the most quality 1:1 time with his patients, in order to rehab them faster, better and stronger! He loves working with athletes and has intricate knowledge of how the body is put together, what game plan he needs to promote and I felt he really understood my recovery goals. Oh yeah, and he's encouraging too!! I'm extremely excited to finish this treatment with Dustin!

Dustin is an excellent physical therapist. He quickly diagnosed my back condition and developed a comprehensive and progressive plan to address it. Something important that separates Dustin from other physical therapists I have used is he personally oversees the treatment and guides you through exercises to make sure they are done properly. He cares. He is also very honest and realistic about the situation and doesn’t give false hope. If you are willing to do the work, Dustin will help you along the way toward healing!

Dustin is a top notch physical therapist! I saw him for a rotator cuff / bicep repair and he was super professional. The therapy was personalized to me and I never felt like I was just getting the same package everyone with the same injury gets. He doesn’t rush through your treatment just to get to the next patient. On multiple occasions I asked him for more exercises to put into my home exercise program and he provided instructions and pictures for doing them correctly. He’s a super nice guy and a master of his craft. I will forever be grateful to him for helping me get back to doing all things I was doing before my injury.

After months of chronic pain for my plantar fasciitis and trying multiple remedies with no success I decided to see Dr. Blankenship. After just my initial visit I felt immediate relief and was pain free in less than 6 weeks. Dr. Blankenship created a custom treatment plan and I couldn’t of been more pleased with the results.

Dustin is the BEST! He is extremely knowledgeable, intentional, and encouraging from day 1! He does not settle for mediocre, but puts in extra time and effort to get his patients back to doing whatever they’re passionate about. I highly recommend Dustin and Neo Physical Therapy!

The owner and staff at NEO is top notch!! Everyone is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I have experienced back and knee pain for years and Dr. Blankenship has gone above and beyond with answering my questions and providing advice on modifications that I use during my workouts. He is very detail oriented and pays close attention to ensure proper form on exercises which has been extremely helpful! He also has a cryo therapy device that was used during my treatment which helped speed up the rehab process for me! I appreciate the cleanliness procedures as well. Don’t look any further for your physical therapy needs, he truly is the best! I highly recommend!

I’ve visited a few other PT’s after knee surgeries and they have all been knowledgable but Dustin made me excited to get into the clinic every session. He took the time to understand my injury but also my overall well being! Seeing my progress and understanding how certain exercises would help my knee pain which in turn would help other parts of my body feel better was awesome. Very grateful that I found him and NEO!

I have been going to Dr Blankenship now for three weeks for an injury sustained during recreational activity and I’m already back at it! Within one session he was able to clearly identify the root cause and modify my pain levels by the time I walked out the door. Over the next couple of sessions he has armed me with techniques on how to correct certain movement patterns to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Highly recommend!

I usually dread going to any sort of doctor. However, all of my visits to NEO just feel like I’m visiting a lifelong friend. You can tell Dustin truly wants the best for his patients, he has even texted me outside of work a couple of times to check on my progress!

I’m recovering from my ACL surgery and was recommended to Dustin by my orthopedic surgeon and I’m glad I went with Dustin he made a same day appointment and I received the best treatment sooner than expected !! Dustin goes above and beyond and makes sure all concerns are addressed and explains everything in detail which makes me feel better about my recovery which I recommend NEO physical therapy 110%
