“The provider I had was excellent!!! He explained what he was doing and how I would get to my goals after getting a total right knee replacement. His approach with pain was excellent and I see how it will work for me since I do have a low tolerance for pain. I am so glad I made the change to this location. I highly recommend my provider to anyone and trust me I read his reviews before I decided to make a choice.”

I hate to do this, but I really can’t recommend this doctor. Maybe it was just my experience, but he seemed neither present nor positive when I saw him. He came across as totally indifferent, while also asserting almost without prompting that nothing could be done beyond management for my issues. I cannot emphasize enough: I do want honesty from a medical professional. But every other doctor I’ve seen has assured me my issues are treatable, including some with nothing to stand to gain from such a diagnosis. And *even if he is totally correct,* his delivery and general distance from me as a patient was soul-crushing. I left the appointment feeling absolutely hopeless—and without any exercises, recommendations, or guidance from Dr. Chung. In fact he cut our session short around when I began to get upset. I will not be going back, but either way the damage is done, and now I feel awful and need to figure out yet again why I’m even bothering to fight this battle to begin with. Miserable.

Dr Edward was very kind and patient. He was able to really help me when I was in a lot of pain and he gave me exercises to work on between appointments. The office staff were friendly and welcoming. I would go back!

The office let me know in advance that the doctor that I selected was not available but that other one was available. I accepted and I had no regrets. The appointment was at the same time and he was friendly and attentive to what I was saying and answered my questions. Highly recommended.

Dr. Chung really takes the time to address my concerns. He has great attention to detail and I am looking forward to continuing to work with him. I am a runner and am working on some back/hip issues so that I can get back into marathon training. He also is a runner so I feel like he really understands my goals for PT.
My previous PT experiences were unhelpful, so I was pretty nervous when I tore my ACL and got sent to PT again. But I was pleasantly surprised by MOTION Sports Medicine. Edward Chung helped me recover from my devastating knee injury without surgery. He literally taught me how to walk again, and in some ways I'm even stronger than I was before my injury. I've never been a fan of the expression: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger", but in this case it's been true for me. I've gone from walking with a cane to doing Bulgarian split squats. Edward gave me challenging exercises and switched it up every appointment, so it didn't get boring. He pushed me to do things that I didn't think I could do-- to squat lower, step higher, use a heavier dumb bell, etc. And then when I did it, he'd say-- "See I told you you could do it" Additionally, Edward and the other people who work at this practice are just really nice people. I'm really grateful to Edward for all his help and to the Google reviewers who helped me find this practice.
The MOTION team helped me recover from a sports injury. Edward Chung handled my recovery with precision and creativity. He ensured that treating one injury didn’t lead to another. He wisely used our limited time for treatments that are demonstrably effective. Ed is compassionate, ethical, a good conversationalist, and even jumps in to do some exercises with you. Getting appointments was easy and we always began and ended on time.
