Very friendly staff. Made sure I was comfortable and aware of what to expect before starting treatment and exercises.
Short but good. Was given some good exercises to use at home. New exercises are being layered in at an appropriate pace.
Elizabeth is personable and professional. Gave me good advice that took in all of the factors about how my body works.

The booking staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a busy practice and with COVID limitations they cannot see as many patients as usual. The booking staff do a great job of juggling schedules to fit in as many patients as possible. The 79th Street location is bright, very clean, and close to the subway. Highly recommend!

Elizabeth was amazing in virtual appointments so I was already excited to work with her in person. She was even more attentive, caring, and informative about ways I can continue care post surgery.

THE BEST EVER!
My first initial visit with Dr E. Lamontagne was a pleasant but thorough visit. We went thru all the necessary questions to find which exercise will be helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a excellent therapist

She was amazing! She explained things to me in a way I understood and gave me a lot of advice. The receptionist was also so sweet and I can’t wait to continue my care with them!

Dr. Elizabeth Lamontagne is thorough, attentive, and funny! She has listened carefully to my many bodily issues and modifies my treatment while carefully pushing me to get stronger. I look forward to our visits!
Elizabeth is such an incredible physical therapist. From my first appointment she always did the most to make me feel comfortable. She took her time to accurately assess my issues and has helped me tremendously with healing my ailment through proper strengthening and stretching.
Liz is a rockstar! I tore my ACL playing soccer and she created a regimen to get me back to the field. She really. Ares for her patients and that is evident not only in my care but in what I observed as I waited to see her. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Without Liz I wouldn’t be able to play soccer or do anything really physical. I am so grateful that she was my PT
Liz is the absolute best. She is such an expert in her field and has really helped me with my chronic pain. Before going to her I thought being pain-free was hopeless, but every time I see her she takes great care to address my discomfort. I always leave our sessions feels 1000x better. I wish I could see her everyday! She's also lovely and very personable.
Very good; totally satisfied.
Lizz is a terrific therapist....always on top of the major need(s) for that visit. She is an excellent communicator, making her role more effective. She has a great sense of short-term and long-term goals, and clearly explains these so that you can be a "professional" partner in your own care and recovery. Importantly she is a genuinely nice person to work with.
I have seen Elizabeth at recovery PT for over 2 years for multiple issues with my knee, hip and shoulder, all which have fully rehabilitated thanks to the great PT I have received. Elizabeth is super knowledgeable and always has excellent clinical instincts for what exercises/treatments would be doable for me and also for which muscles would be the most sore and require more attention. I am very happy to be able resume my previous level of activity and also know what to do to prevent future injury. Elizabeth is also very pleasant and fun to chat with and has a positive and supportive bedside manner. I recommend everyone I know to her! Ps Linda in the front office is also super nice.
Lizz is a phenomenal PT; I have and will continue to recommend her to friends and colleagues. She helped me with chronic knee and groin pain while I was training for a marathon and guided me through creating and sticking to a home training plan that allowed for a very successful and happy first marathon. I’ve also seen her for an ankle sprain and am so glad to have her helping me through injury recovery. My previous experiences with other PTs in the city have paled in comparison to the holistic and thoughtful care Lizz provides.
I cannot recommend Dr. Lamontagne enough! She was always friendly, patient, and professional. After I broke my foot, I thought I was going to be out of commission for months but she did incredible work helping me through my physical therapy sessions. With her help and a few short weeks, I was back to 100%. Fantastic doctor!
She knows her stuff and approaches treatment with wisdom and kindness. She is awesome professionally, scientifically and personally.
Invigorating.
Elizabeth Lamontagne is the best physical therapist I have ever experienced. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable and conscientious. I have seen her for a variety of ailments -- knees, back and neck -- and she has worked magic for all. Without her help, I doubt that I would be able to continue operating my labor-intensive garden business. I can't recommend Elizabeth highly enough.
I used Lizz for 4 months for PT 2-3 times per week. She was fabulous! I had a meniscus root repair, which is not a simple procedure. I'm also a dedicated runner. She worked with me and I did exactly what she instructed. Lizz also stayed in touch with my doctor. One year later, and I'm running exactly as before.
Liz is seriously the best. Seriously. She is funny and caring and explains everything so you can understand what’s happening with your body and why different exercises will help. I can’t recommend her highly enough!
Elizabeth is very knowledgeable about body mechanics. I have seen her often over the years for various problems, the most recent being a painful shoulder. She is also very calm in dealing with my complaints and attempts at humor.
