Getting to know Elliott O'melia
Hello! I’m Elliott, owner of Northwoods Psychiatry. I carry a particular passion for diagnosing and treating ADHD but also treat patients experiencing many mental health concerns, including bipolar disorder, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I believe we never forget the people who were there for us when we asked for help. Working in psychiatry, I deeply appreciate the opportunity to be that person for someone else. It’s an incredible honor when someone places their trust in me and allows me to support them, especially knowing how difficult it can feel to open up to a stranger. That’s something I never take for granted.
I offer a unique mix of medication management with therapy, in which I advocate for every client in a manner that reflects how I would want my provider to care for me in a similar situation. I provide a level of compassion, humor that is unmatched. Today, I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and more.
I believe care goes beyond symptoms. I take time to understand your story, passions, and goals to build treatment that fits you. Real progress happens when care is personal. More than anything, I genuinely care and feel honored to walk alongside each client.
