About Elvin Chang

One of the reasons I decided to become a physical therapist is to help others overcome periods of hardship resulting from injury. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University, where a quote that has stuck with me is "to treat the human, not the condition." I have experienced rehabilitation myself due to sprains and strains from dragon boating, as well as back pain from working at a desk for long periods. I can relate to what it feels like when everything seems put on hold because of pain, and I understand how frustrating it is to navigate daily life while wondering if you can return to your prior health. I completed three clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics and one in outpatient neurology, each providing crucial experience interacting with people of all ages and encountering various musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions. I appreciate learning and will continually hone my skills as a clinician so our patients receive the care they need to heal.

I did a series of tests that aggravated my injury, they were inspecting the wrong side of my body and told me to take Tylenol and comeback in 4 days.
