“Emily is fully engaged with her patient. She speaks in everyday language. She asks questions and listens closely to the answers. She has been documenting my progress with each visit and has modified her exercise recommendations to match my status. Her manipulation of the injured joint is gentle while providing the information she needs. She consistently communicates her findings to me and we discuss the situation to provide me with the best course of action. I highly recommend her. ”

I was skeptical about the value of PT, but my experience with Emily completely changed my mind when I made a complete recovery from a foot injury without surgical intervention.
I have been working with Emily since 2020, after she was recommended to me by PT to work on strengthening my core. Over the years, I have seen her for multiple injuries, and she has proven herself to be a passionate and consummate physical therapist who tirelessly works to help her clients. She is deeply knowledgeable, respectful, and is the epitome of professionalism. Emily's attention to detail and ability to concisely explain HOW to perform every exercise she assigns you in simple and understandable terms is rare among even the most experienced and seasoned of physical therapists. I believe it stems from her background as a dancer and pilates instructor, and that same background has also gifted her the ability to understand the complex needs of performing artists. As a professional musician, she has been a godsend. She and her colleague Sarah are a fantastic team, and I am thrilled to be able to see Emily at her new location in Union Square.
