Erin Kohout is a dedicated physical therapist who employs innovative approaches to assist her patients in achieving their unique objectives. Her primary goal is to equip patients with the knowledge and tools required to facilitate ongoing healing well beyond their time under her care. Erin holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University Medical Center. Her initial career path led her to the world of dance following the completion of her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from SUNY Purchase, where she spent a decade performing in both New York and the San Francisco Bay Area. Her enduring passion for the arts and movement continues to drive her professional journey. Over the years, Erin has collaborated with numerous professional dancers, actors, singers, and musicians, contributing her expertise to various settings ranging from backstage at Broadway productions to summertime festivals in upstate New York. Her extensive experience encompasses diverse fields such as sports medicine, concussion rehabilitation, vocal and jaw therapy, as well as advanced manual therapy techniques. Erin is unwavering in her commitment to delivering top-tier, evidence-based therapy. She maintains active memberships in both the American Physical Therapy Association and its New York Physical Therapy chapter, further underscoring her dedication to the highest standards of professionalism and patient care.
