“Freddy has been treating me for stiffness, pain and discomfort in my lower back from a herniated disc for a couple of years and I highly recommend him to anyone who hasn't gotten relief from other methods of treatment. Freddy takes his time, asks lots of questions to make sure he understands the origin of the problem and customizes his treatment based on the patient's feedback to find a treatment plan that works. I'm never rushed, always made to feel comfortable and relaxed and go back every chance I get. I highly recommend Freddy's acupuncture services.”

Freddy Alva’s 15-plus years of experience in medical settings, along with his Master’s in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, have given him the resources to utilize what works best at a given time for a particular person’s ailment. Whether it’s pain relief for chronic or acute conditions, stress management, fertility treatments, seasonal allergies, or a wide range of internal issues, Alva Acupuncture aims to treat the root of the problem, thereby addressing the underlying symptoms. Depending on the patient’s disposition, allied modalities such as Chinese massage, Qi Gong (therapeutic exercises), cranial-sacral therapy, PNF stretches, mindful meditation, cupping, and others will be incorporated as the treatment progresses. I wasn’t sure what to expect my first time having acupuncture. By the time I left I had a very positive feeling about acupuncture and Freddy in particular. He is professional and has a calming and reassuring presence( which was great for a first time treatment). I’ve had several treatments and each visit I left feeling so much better. I highly recommend Mr Alva.

I have been seeing Freddy since I had back surgery 6 years ago. At first I saw him 3x a week, then 2x a week, and now whenever I have a flare up I will go in.
I have recommended Freddy to several of my friends, he is professional and very caring; he always checks to make sure you are comfortable during treatment. Freddy is always willing to adapt to whatever is going on with you even if you initially went in for a different issue.
I only have great things to say in regards the care and treatment I have received from Freddy.
