Getting to know Dr. Francesco Siciliano

I provide psychotherapy to teens and adults experiencing emotional and relational difficulties. I work with patients from diverse backgrounds and offer treatment for issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family conflict, gender and sexuality, and identity. Whether you are feeling dissatisfied with your current situation, worried about the future, or seeking self-exploration, psychotherapy can offer healing and growth. I have specific experience working with young adults and LGBTQIA+ individuals and am committed to maintaining a practice that is anti-racist and culturally aware. I hold a PhD in Psychology from Long Island University Brooklyn. I practice from a relationally-informed psychodynamic perspective, emphasizing the importance of exploring how past relationships and systems have shaped who you are and how you understand yourself and others in the present. Together, we will work to discover the roots of your current situation, building self-awareness and agency to guide your path forward. An essential component of my work is building a strong and trusting therapeutic alliance from which we can collaborate in our exploration. I strive to create an open, non-judgmental, compassionate, and empowering space to understand you better. I encourage you to take the first step and look forward to joining you on your journey.
