Gail Dillon received her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William & Mary and her Bachelor's degree in English and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She has experience working with individuals facing a wide variety of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addictions, grief, and trauma. Her background and extensive life experience enhance her ability to understand and relate to clients with both compassion and insight. Gail served in the Army as an enlisted soldier and in the Air Force as an officer. Additionally, she was an Army spouse for two decades, giving her a unique understanding of veterans, their families, and the challenges of military life. Gail tailors therapy to each client's needs, often working from a person-centered perspective. She also draws from other modalities, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Believing that the mind and body are intricately connected, she frequently uses a holistic approach to empower and educate her clients to help them reach their full potential. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her sons—usually hiking, biking, or walking her Goldendoodle puppy. She also loves yoga, reading, trying new restaurants with her husband and friends, and listening to live music.
