“I have had both knees replaced but after the second operation I was having a little trouble getting back to “normal” especially walking down stairs. I know my PT has helped me. And what a great place! It is open and bright, and the staff are all pleasant, welcoming and knowledgeable; making you feel relaxed and comfortable. Thank You. ”

About Gregg Chodkowski

For my whole life, I have tried to live by the quote ?Don't count the days, make the days count.? This attitude has allowed me to become not only an experienced, well-educated clinician with a Master's in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University, but also to focus my time on truly knowing my patients. Both of these components result in exceptional care. Knowledge and experience backed with compassion provide our patients with a unique physical therapy experience. This is evident in the great outcomes I have achieved over close to twenty years of practice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and coaching my two sons, Jack and Cole, in many sports!

I started PT because of severe pain in my lower back because of deterioration and arthritis in my spine. I came in humped over my walker and coming in the building using the ramp. After a couple weeks of PT, I graduated to a cane and using the front steps. Shortly after that, I put away the cane and started walking on my own. Thank you Greg & Jason. I greatly appreciate your help.
The doctor said my treatment was to go to P.T. I thought the place would be impersonal and gym like whose attitude would be no pain no gain. When I walked into THR I was giving friendly greeting and treated as if I were a member of their family. They got to know me as a person and developed an exercise plan to fix my rotor cuff. This plan was within my golden years ability and it worked with gain, no pain. I am back again for treatment of my right leg. I did not have any power in it to lift myself up steps and putting on a sock was an adventure. At this I can put on a sock and I see improvement in power. The improvement is due to the caring friendly treatment that I have been receiving.
My experience here at THR was great for all 3 times – knee replacement, shoulder, and lower back pain. I totally recommend anyone to come here for rehabilitation, not to mention the personnel working that are so kind and helpful.
I was in severe pain in my right shoulder when I found out I would need a reverse shoulder replacement. I consulted Gregg about the procedure. Not only did he explain in detail what to expect, he guided me to the best surgeon for shoulders, Dr. Jeremie Axe. Because of the excellent surgery and Gregg's therapy plan, I was discharged two weeks early from my doctor and PT. I achieved almost a 90-degree range of motion in my right arm and feel fantastic. Everyone has been terrific. I could have not done it without them!
I highly recommend the therapists at Total Health & Rehabilitation! Both Gregg and Jason are very knowledgeable and personable. They described my injuries and the process of recovering from them in a way that I could understand, and they were attentive to my questions and concerns. I especially liked the one-on-one time and the adjustments they made to my rehab program to help me reach my goals. Now, my ankle and knee are strong and I am walking normal again!
