Hannah Gammon, LCP

Psychologist
CA
Hi there! I'm Dr. Hannah Gammon, a clinical psychologist who helps millennial and Gen Z women overcome adversity, fall in love with themselves, and take steps (or leaps!) toward making their dream lives a reality. I earned my PsyD from Wright State University and completed my undergraduate studies at Ohio University. My expertise includes self-esteem, relationship and dating issues (including recovering from relationship trauma), boundary-setting skills, health-related goals and behaviors, and general women's issues. My approach While I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all model and am flexible to meet each client's needs, I tend to focus on cognitive and behavioral aspects of therapy. I examine behaviors first and explore how day-to-day actions impact your mental health and presenting problems. Underlying that, I get to know your thought patterns and beliefs to understand what might be blocking you from living as you want and feeling your best. I also integrate core processes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and consider cultural and identity variables in treatment. My focus I love supporting and empowering women ages 18-40 from all backgrounds, nationalities, races, ethnicities, abilities, sexual orientations, spiritual and political beliefs, and more. I feel most skilled helping with self-love and self-acceptance, meeting behavioral and health goals, dating issues for single women, recovery from toxic relationships, self-expression and confidence, and life transitions, including coping with grief and loss. My communication style My style is personable, friendly, honest, and direct. Clients often say they appreciate my attentive, unconditionally supportive nature and feel genuinely seen and cared for in our work together. I'm highly empathic and committed to creating a safe space for growth.
