About Dr. Harrison Newman

Harrison Newman, PT, DPT graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology and Political Science and from Rutgers SHRP with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Harrison competed for Colgate University as a Division I Track and Field athlete and scored points in the Patriot League Championships in the High Jump and Triple Jump in all four years he attended. He returned to the field of sports and physical therapy after careers in geophysics, stock picture photography, and management of performance go-kart racing. Harrison has a passion for speed as exemplified by his athletic performance and motorsport racing he has competed in. Harrison brings his knowledge of running and track and field to the orthopedic setting. His clinical experience has taken him throughout America including treating orthopedic patients in NY and NJ, pediatric oncology patients at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, and traveling to New Mexico to treat Native Americans on the Zuni reservation as part of the Indian Health Service initiative.
