Heather Mueller is a Yale University-trained Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master's in Nursing who specializes in Social Anxiety, School Phobia, Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Parent Management, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She also sees clients for substance use concerns and personality disorders. Clients may visit Heather when they're unsure whether to start medication and seek her counsel on the best course of treatment. Easy to talk to. Fun. Knowledgable. Helped me work out a lot of my anxiety and work/self esteem issues. See her regularly.
Great listener. Really helped understand what was going on with me. She gave lots of good education about therapy, my diagnose, and medication. I felt very comfortable. I still her as my primary psychiatric provider.
Excellent experience with Heather and Dr. Sultan. Professional Practice, Responsible, on time, and organized. Helped me sort out a lot my issues and evaluate the risks and benefits of being on medication. I was a little uncomfortable that Heather isn't in network for insurance because its expensive. But the quality of care was such better than insurance psychiatrists. Plus I get about 80% reimbursed from my insurance.

I had never seen a therapist or psych person before. But, I really like Heather. She is warm, kind, and understanding. Office was super cozy. She books a specific time for me. I don't feel rushed and never have to wait. Wasn't pushy about medication or therapy. After working with her, I have a good handle on my anxiety and ADHD. I made a lot of strides at work now. Doing much better in my career. Very grateful to her. Only draw back is the no direct accepting of insurance, but I get reimbursed most of it. Just a bit of paperwork.
