I have been practicing as a psychotherapist in Colorado since 1988. I am committed to providing a relationship of safety, compassion, and trust. Study after study has shown that the quality of the relationship between client and therapist is the only reliable and most powerful predictor of a positive outcome. Therapy is brave work. I am so grateful for every human who has shown up for therapy, shared their story, their struggles, and their courage with me.
My mental health experience includes working in urban and rural community mental health clinics as well as in private practice. I work with individual adults, from 18 to 75 years old, with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, stress-related concerns, life transitions, post-traumatic stress disorder, and substance use problems. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which is an evidence-based treatment for a number of mental health conditions. If you would like more information about EMDR therapy, please visit.
