*Mindful Therapy Group requires a credit card to be added to your account before your intake appointment with this Provider. After you book an appointment, a representative will call you to get your card information and confirm your appointment details.* My primary focus is working with adolescents, families, and adults, though I have a range of experience working with people of all ages and many different demographics. In particular, I am skilled at working with youth with challenging pasts, families and caregivers involved in the child welfare/foster care system, and young adults Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent my career working as a case manager in a variety of settings, including shelters for those without housing, shelters for those experiencing domestic violence, jail-based services, supporting families with child welfare involvement, and in schools. This experience has given me a depth of understanding for the many challenges youth and families can face, and equipped me with the tools for supporting families with various systems involvement. My areas of focus include family conflict, behavioral concerns among youth, trauma and PTSD, personality disorders, anxiety & depression, substance use, anger management, LGBTQ+ affirming care, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. I encourage you to set up a no-cost 15 minute consultation to talk more and take the first steps toward improved well-being.
