About Dr. Hetal Sojitra
Dr. Hetal Sojitra earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (M.S. University) in India. She further advanced her education in the U.S., obtaining her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica University. Dr. Sojitra has been practicing as a Physical Therapist in the U.S. for over 10 years, gaining extensive experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics. For the past 8 years, she has focused on outpatient care, treating patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, post-surgical, orthopedic, and sports injuries.
Dr. Sojitra incorporates the McKenzie approach in her treatments to benefit patients with spine disorders. She also utilizes Maitland spinal mobilization and other manual therapy techniques. Committed to helping patients heal and achieve lifelong wellness, she prides herself on excellent communication skills that put patients at ease. I highly recommend Care and Cure Physical Therapy for your physical therapy needs. I suffered from lower back pain but was able to obtain relief within a few weeks of starting physical therapy at Care and Cure Physical Therapy. Dr. Hetal Sojitra and her team are very professional and I cannot recommend them enough!

Dr . Sojitra, DPT is very nice and very understanding about the pain I was having with my back. She went over my diagnosis and explain to me the therapy that I was going to receive. Office is clean. No waiting time. Staff is nice and helpful.

I was never given much individual attention during our PT sessions. Frequently there would be two or three other clients in her office at once. No one was observing how I performed the therapy exercises and when I pressed her for guidance on the exercises it was usually met with vague instructions. I have been doing her exercises for over a year at home since I stopped going to sessions and my chronic back pain has only gotten worse.

Overall great telehealth experience. I needed PT after injuring my knee (torn miniscus) during stay at home orders and Hetal made the recovery process very smooth. She spent a lot of time walking me through progression exercises to do during our visit as well as on my own which helped build back the strength in my knee. I was a little hesitant to try virtual PT but it Hetal has proved that it can work.
She was very nice, accomodating, and helpful throughout the whole duration (one month) and would highly recommend her.

I'm so glad I found Dr.Sojtra after being diagnosed with herniated disks. The first visit she explained to me what the goals for my PT were and we have been working for the past several weeks, each time slightly changing the exercises to assess my improvement so far. My pain has greatly reduced and I feel more confident when exercising without the fear of pain creeping up! She is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable during the visit.

I would recommend her to friends and family or anyone who needs physical therapy. She is the best physical therapist I have seen so far. Her professionalism and techniques are excellent and provide personal attention to each patient. Scheduling appointment is very convenient and the option for late evening appointment on certain days. The office is very clean and maintains high hygiene level.

I went to Dr.Sojitra with a chronic back problem that I have been suffering for years. When I went in first the pain was severe and I had difficulty moving. Within one session with her I got a lot of relief from the pain. She also took the time to analyze the cause from studying my posture, mechanical habits, etc. and gave recommendations on corrections that gave me immediate results.
By my next session she had done her homework by studying my history file, my insurance coverage and had a program ready for me. I especially appreciate that she took the time to give me a printed list of exercises to perform while I am traveling (which I do heavily) and cannot visit for a session.
There is next to no wait time that I have experienced for a scheduled appointment, and Dr.Sojitra and her staff have been very professional, courteous and caring.

Care and Cure Physical Therapy is amazing! Hetal does a great job explaining everything and also listens to any concerns her patients have. She is very thorough and has really taken the time to help me through my injury. When my injury presented unusual symptoms, Hetal even recommended a sports medicine doctor in the area for me to see. Hetal is very professional, knowledgeable and genuinely care for you to get better soon. She patiently listened to me about the complaints I had regarding my knee pain. She then proceeded to diagnose it carefully, explaining me along the way before deciding on the approach to treat the same. Before meeting her, I was scared that I may need to undergo surgery but she put my mind to ease saying surgery would be the last resort and that few weeks of PT is helpful enough in most of the cases. I would highly recommend her in case you are having any mobility related issues.
