About Isha Chawla

Isha Chawla is an exceptional clinician who received her Master’s in Physical Therapy Degree with a specialization in Orthopedics in India in 2005 and now has over 17 years of experience. Her dedication to the idea of being able to provide more for her patients motivates her to continue to learn and has so far logged more than 1500 hours of continuing education coursework over her professional career. In 2021, she joined the elite group of Certified Functional Manual Therapists (CFMT), of which there are less than 400 in the world, through the Institute of Physical Art. The certification consists of a demanding seven exams, both practical and written, to demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness with evaluation and treatment utilizing the techniques taught by the Institute of Physical Art. She also completed Advanced certification In Schroth Method to treat Scoliosis through Scoliosis and Spine Online Learning (SSOL) and underwent intense training under the expert instructions of renowned Schroth’s Method practitioner and teacher Hagit Berdishevesky to enhance her ability to assess and manage spine rehabilitation for non-operative, pre-operative and post-operative scoliosis patients of all ages. She has completed VM1-5 training in Visceral Manipulation Training, pursuing Neuromeningeal Manipulation from Barral Institute and Craniosacral Therapy training from Upledger Institute. She is pursuing Women’s Health coursework from Herman and Wallace Institute. She has over 7 years of experience in conditions related to Women’s Health. In addition, she has achieved specialty certifications in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (an excellent technique for muscle strength training in functional movements patterns) to treat impairments associated with neuromuscular conditions and musculoskeletal conditions.
