Jake Arnstein earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Health Science degrees from Touro University in 2023. His interest in physical therapy began after experiencing sports-related injuries growing up, leading him to pursue a career focused on helping others return to the activities they enjoy. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as a physical therapy aide in multiple outpatient clinics, gaining valuable hands-on experience with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Throughout his education, Jake trained in orthopedic outpatient clinics, aquatic therapy, and acute inpatient rehabilitation. He has experience treating orthopedic injuries, including ankle sprains, knee pain, shoulder instability, back and neck pain, nerve-related conditions, herniated discs, and frozen shoulder. He also works with post-surgical patients recovering from procedures such as ACL and meniscus repairs, rotator cuff repairs, foot reconstruction, and hip replacements. Jake's treatment approach includes soft tissue and joint mobilization, neuromuscular re-education, gait analysis and training, balance and stability training, individualized exercise prescription, and activity modification. He is committed to evidence-based, patient-centered care and stays current with the latest research to provide effective, personalized treatment. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Jake enjoys exploring the city, trying new restaurants, exercising, attending concerts, and playing sports in his free time.
