About Dr. Janan Sayyed
Dr. Janan Sayyed is a licensed and Board Certified Chiropractor. She is the Founder and Director of Active Care Chiropractic & Natural Wellness Center PC, located in Sutton Place, Manhattan, New York, and serves as the Head Clinical Director at Southern Medical PC in the Bronx. Dr. Sayyed has a diverse background and is trained in Holistic/Preventive Medicine, Functional Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Acupuncture, Bloodwork, Digital X-Rays, Sports Medicine, and Natural Wellness. She holds dual doctorates (DC and ND) from the University of Bridgeport’s rigorous eight-year program and is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Dr. Sayyed is planning to obtain licensure in Dubai and Jordan, where she will be the second chiropractor in the country.
In January 2012, Dr. Sayyed was honored by the National Association for Professional Women (NAPW) and featured on their website. This prestigious organization, representing 400,000 women across professions, strongly promotes women’s empowerment. On May 18, 2012, she was awarded WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2012 by NAPW for being an innovative entrepreneur, speaker, wellness expert/consultant, author in magazines, online health blogs, and health journals, and a dynamic leader in Integrative Medicine. In February 2012, she was inducted as a Diplomate in Integrative Medicine, earning the DAIM credential due to her extensive research and pioneering work in the field. Dr. Sayyed continues to excel in research training and postgraduate studies.
She has completed extensive seminars and fellowships in Post-Graduate training in Cognitive Psychology, Clinical Nutrition, Homeopathy, Amino Acid Therapy for ADD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress, Stress Management, Breathing Exercises, and Meditation.

Dr. Janan Sayyed is very helpful and knowledgeable about chiropractic. She puts me on the spine decompressor and it feels amazing for my low back and neck.
