She HEARS me, she remembers things I've mentioned and comes up with ideas for me to focus on differently. She understands that I try with my best intentions to follow her advice, even when I don't. Dr. Gaines is genuine, authentic, and very personable. My sessions do not feel forced, and I find it easy to share honest thoughts that I can't and won't share with anyone else.

I also help with life stressors such as work-related stress, divorce, separation, blended families, parent/child relationships, parenting skills, infidelity and trust, adjustment issues, social skills training, self-esteem issues, emotional challenges, motivational concerns, and goal setting. I earned my EdD in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Chicago, my MEd in School Counseling, and my bachelor's degree from Delta State University. Currently, I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions (telephonic or video). I am available Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.
