**PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS AN APPOINTMENT REQUEST AND NO APPOINTMENTS ARE CONFIRMED UNTIL DONE SO BY PROFESSIONAL PHYSICAL THERAPY DIRECTLY** Jeffrey Wong OTR/L, CHT completed his Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degree in Occupational Therapy from the University at Buffalo in 2012. His core clinical concentration was in Hand Therapy. Upon graduation, he was recruited into private practice where he was trained under seasoned certified hand therapists in Philadelphia, PA. Looking to expand his skills beyond private practice, he went on to join multiple orthopedic organizations across the country, eventually becoming licensed in 6 states. He obtained his specialty certification in hand therapy in 2017. He went on to establish a hand therapy clinic in a sports medicine facility in Texas where he worked directly with board certified hand surgeons and trauma surgeons to provide immediate post-operative rehabilitation. Jeffrey specializes in treating many conditions of the upper extremity including wrist fractures, finger fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, sprain/strains, arthritis and joint pain, finger and elbow dislocations, Dupuytren’s contractures, tendon repairs, nerve repairs, tennis/golfer’s elbow, and many other injuries. He has extensive experience with fabrication of custom splints that can assist with protection and healing of injured structures. He has returned to his home state of New York to be closer to family and has joined Professional PT in 2021. He is excited to provide care for his community and is happy to be home. He is married to May Chow, an occupational therapist with specialty certification in Parkinson’s and Stroke Rehabilitation. Together, they enjoy traveling and hiking, and have hiked at over 30 national parks.

First class! Ouch - tough OT, pain. Jeff guides me through all of the unfunny stuff and keeps me on track. Interesting, supportive conversations throughout, and awesome backstory support. I'm happy - and confident that my hands will 'get it' and I can move forward. Recommend without hesitation.
