Hello, I'm Jennifer. I have been a social worker for over 20 years, and throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various settings, addressing a wide range of concerns. My experience spans working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and self-confidence challenges. I've also had the honor of supporting those with life-limiting illnesses as a hospice social worker, and I bring a wealth of knowledge in aging, disabilities, caregiving, and behavior change to my practice.
I specialize in helping clients navigate PTSD, trauma, OCD, traumatic brain injury, dementia, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, medical issues, physical health, spirituality, stress, and family relationships. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or seeking general support, I'm here to help you on your journey.
My therapeutic philosophy centers around placing my clients first. I believe you have a right to tell your story, and I am committed to listening without judgment. My goal is to provide you with the support and guidance you need as you work toward your short-term or long-term goals. I employ multiple therapeutic styles, with a focus on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. These approaches help you gain insight into the thoughts and behaviors that may be holding you back from being your absolute best. I will meet you wherever you are on your journey, providing a safe and supportive space for growth and healing.
