About Dr. Jonathan Moshenberg
Physical therapist, Jonathan Moshenberg, brings over 14 years of clinical and management experience from a variety of settings. Prior to joining EXCEL, Jon treated patients in a variety of different outpatient settings, including orthopedic facilities to large, multi-disciplinary practices.
Jon grew up in Monmouth County, NJ. From early on, he knew he wanted to become a physical therapist because it combined his desire to help people and be a medical provider with his interest in sports. He went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Science for both his undergraduate and graduate schooling, eventually earning his Doctor in Physical Therapy degree from Pitt.
His area of clinical expertise resides in manual therapy, specifically spinal and joint manipulation. He practices a wide array of differing manual techniques and holds Certification in Advanced Manipulation Therapy (CAMT) through Hands On Seminars. In addition, Jon has had additional training in the Maitland technique. His goal is to complete a fellowship through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists.
While he specializes in many manual techniques, Jon believes the best patient clinical outcomes are a result of a proper manual therapy treatment plan in addition to an individual specific exercise program. He enjoys treating athletes of all ages. Jon is an advocate for collaborative communication between provider and patient.
In his free time, the Fanwood resident enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They enjoy making their own adventures, traveling and are big fans of the Mets and Giants.

Jonathan and his staff were consistently professional, knowledgeable and excellent to work with. Every time I went in I was greeted with a smile by Ebony and taken right away to start therapy. They laid out a plan for recovery right away and challenged me at each visit. They are a great team and I would recommend them highly.
