I began my academic path at Stonehill College where I was recruited for track and field without a clear vision of becoming an occupational therapist. My career direction shifted profoundly when my grandfather became a bilateral below-the-knee amputee and required occupational therapy. Watching his progress firsthand—regaining independence, confidence, and quality of life—sparked a deep respect for the impact of OT and inspired my own professional goals. I graduated from Stonehill College in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a minor in business. Motivated by the introduction to OT and a strong interest in the human brain and functional recovery, I pursued my lifelong commitment to the field by continuing my education at the University of New Hampshire. During my time in graduate school, I had experiences in multiple OT settings where I finally found my passion for hand therapy as a student at Professional Physical Therapy in Amesbury, MA. I then earned my master’s degree in OT by the end of 2025 and decided to accept a position back at Professional Physical Therapy where I felt most confident to begin my OT career.

About Kaley Enright
