“Katherine was my hand & wrist therapist after I broke my wrist in a car accident. She was amazing in every way. I saw her twice a week for many weeks. She challenged me but was always accommodating to my pain if something was too much. I gained so much range of motion back and strength in my hand and wrist as well. The office experience I have no complaints about. The woman at the front desk was always kind as well. I would recommend Katherine to anyone, her care quality was exceptional. I left due to a job opportunity in Florida but I was genuinely sad to leave! I will miss my visits there. I'm so grateful to her!!”

About Katherine DeLanty

I was initially exposed to Occupational Therapy from a young age in my aunt's pediatric therapy services agency and have pursued my interest in Occupational Therapy since then. I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Stonehill College in Health Science while competing on the collegiate volleyball team. I subsequently earned a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy at Stony Brook University. In my time at Stony Brook University, I researched and presented on direct access and necessity for increased access to Occupational Therapy and went on to present on this topic at the NYSOTA convention. During my Master's Degree program I completed a Level II fieldwork experience at Professional Physical and Hand Therapy, which lead to working for Professional PT in NYS in 2021. While working in NYS I have worked closely with various hand surgeons to fabricate custom splints for their patients and allow streamlined access to therapeutic intervention. Recently, I have transferred to Massachusetts where I am practicing at our Newton and Salem Locations. I look forward to growing the Hand Therapy Division of Professional PT in Massachusetts.
