Katie Morena is a Mental Health Counselor holding a provisional license (MHC-LP) in New York. When a young teenager, Katie discovered her passion for psychology and has since dedicated herself to becoming an educated, competent, and empathic professional. With a Master of Arts in Forensic Mental Health Counseling and an Advanced Certificate Post Baccalaureate in Criminal Investigation from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Katie remains a life-long learner even after exiting the classroom. She specializes in anxiety, depression, mindfulness, and stress management.
Rooted in the belief that each person has the inherent capacity for growth and healing, Katie creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Most importantly, her collaborative, empathic approach with her clients supports them in exploring and nurturing their inner potential and overcoming life’s challenges.
