About Kim Nguyen

When Kim was in medical school in Vietnam, she was inspired to take an Eastern medicine course especially massage therapy, where pain was treated without pills. Kim then came to the US and worked as a nurse assistant at Elmhurst Hospital. She helped her coworkers to reduce their pain and relieved their stress with massage and they all encouraged her to become a massage therapist instead. She attended the New York College of Health Professional and started her journey to becoming a massage therapist. Kim has a very particular set of skills which allows her to go very deep into joints, muscle insertions, and onto bones, and at the same time, is also able to adjust her pressure as needed and requested. Now, as a massage therapist, Kim specializes in medical massage and holistic health care with techniques such as: -Sports massage -Trigger point -Myofascial relief -Thai massage -Prenatal/postpartum massage -Cupping, hot stone, gua sha... With Kim's experience, she has been helping her patients reduce their muscle soreness and tension, improving circulation, energy, immune function, physical fitness and more.
