About Dr. Krisha Shah

Krisha Shah earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2022 and 2025, respectively. She has always been an active and energetic person, with a passion for dance that sparked her appreciation for movement and the human body. Krisha's interest in physical therapy began when she worked as a PT aide in an outpatient clinic and saw the meaningful relationships physical therapists were building with their patients. This experience inspired her to pursue the profession. During her time in PT school, she was involved in teaching LSVT classes for individuals with Parkinson's Disease, which sparked her interest in working with the geriatric and neuro population. Krisha strives to create a welcoming and motivating environment for where every individual feels supported in their rehabilitation journey. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and helping each person reach their highest level of function and independence. Some of her interests include dancing, reading mystery novels, trying new restaurants/cafes, and traveling.
