My philosophy toward therapy is that we each possess the solutions we need within ourselves. Having an impartial person to listen or interject an objective perspective may be helpful. This has been true for me. Life’s trajectory led me to patronize therapy services during difficult seasons in my life. After raising my family, I completed a Master’s degree in clinical social work. I have decades of life experience with my current education and training. Today…I advocate and provide behavioral health services as a somatic psychotherapist, sex therapist, and thanatologist. My role is to sweep a path, but you must walk it.
Sensing the need to seek therapeutic support, guidance, or intervention, demonstrates insight and requires courage to follow through. Should we connect, I welcome the chance to determine how we will work together. I am a somatic psychotherapist, rooted in my background as a massage therapist. My approach to therapy incorporates the body as well as the mind. It’s never too late to begin “while we have breath.”
