Managing life is an uphill battle when you’re dealing with painful thoughts and emotions — and even harder when it feels like you’re dealing with it alone. I strive to create a true partnership with you to support you through your personal discoveries and changes.
Together, we’ll take a safe dive into your feelings and thought patterns. However, well-being isn’t just about your inner world – to see the bigger picture, we’ll also examine your personal history and your current environment. Our goal: to help you live your life to the fullest.
My style is warm, collaborative, and active, with an emphasis on skill coaching and development. I am trauma-informed and draw primarily from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as mindfulness-based and integrative approaches that can help people feel better and function more effectively.
I have years of experience in medical settings and helping patients cope with chronic disease; serious illness; caregiver stress; and life transitions, including aging. I enjoy working with creatives, the LGBTQ+ community, and people exploring polyamory and other non-traditional relationship structures.
I believe we all have the capacity for growth and change, no matter where we start. If you worry that you’ve missed opportunities, or that in some ways you are too much or not enough — know that those are limiting beliefs.
Whether you need help shifting your perspective or imagining a different future, we’ll work collaboratively to find the tools that work best for you. I’ll provide the accountability to help you live more closely to your values, and move toward balance and contentment.
