Hi there, I'm Davin! My name is Davin Rowe, LPC, TLHT, CAADC. I'm multi-state licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida and hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I also possess a certification in Drug and Alcohol education. I'm a firm believer in family-of-origin work, family systems, and ultimately how we are essentially byproducts of those lived experiences. My motto is ?life on life terms.? **My approach** Family of origin (FOO), family systems, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-challenging the evidence), and Motivational Interviewing. **My focus** I'm well versed in treating clients across the lifespan-I'm currently a full-time clinician at a University of Higher Education. I do a significant amount of couples therapy and family therapy. **My communication style** Professional yet relatable, direct yet compassionate. **My journey to mental healthcare** The movie in the late 1990s, *Good Will Hunting*, starring Robin Williams and Matt Damon, stood out to me as a youth. This inspired me to change my major to counseling. Meaningful work, as well as rewarding in many ways. **My goals for you** As a partnership, we seek out realistic objectives that we can set forth in the earlier portions of our journey. **My first session with you** A curious therapist, NOT a judgmental therapist.
