About Dr. Lawrence Kim
Dr. Lawrence Kim earned his Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He holds Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and has numerous certifications in Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. As the owner of EDGE Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, he has treated many high-profile professional athletes from the surrounding Metro NJ/NYC area.
His techniques include dry needling, manual therapy, cupping, laser therapy, joint manipulation, and advanced corrective exercise. Treatment sessions incorporate advanced modalities and alternative methods such as infrared sauna, blood flow restriction therapy, red light therapy, and IASTM.

The website claims that my insurance was accepted here. I go in person and the lady at the desk says it wasn’t acceptable there. Then said they tried to contact me to let me know that it wasn’t, which they did not. Horrible customer service

Dr. Lawarence Kim took the time to listen and assess my condition and then explained the treatment plan. The whole process felt easy and comfortable thanks to him. I couldn't continue with the treatment due to an insurance problem, but I would definitely visit him again when the situation is settled.

My husband goes to the Retro fitness in Fort Lee and stumbled upon EdgeWell which is located inside the gym, I’m so glad he did! The people here are friendly, professional and know what they’re doing. Not to mention the place is beautiful and clean. I love the fact that they have an infrared sauna and a recovery room which is so cute and relaxing for healing after your session. I also take advantage of the hydro massage down the hall at the gym which is just an added bonus you get when going to EdgeWell. Highly recommend this place! Don’t sleep on it, it’s what you’ve been needing !

Lawrence is absolutely awesome !
HIGHLY recommended this place. I’ve always ignored my pain and minor injuries for the longest time, but never addressed it. These guys are super knowledgeable and friendly, which makes the whole healing process more fun and interesting. I honestly never saw myself going through physical therapy ever in my life but even after a few sessions with these guys, I’m feeling really good and don’t regret it! These guys can 110% help you and much more! Come here and you’ll be set!

I HIGHLY recommend this place. I’ve been going for a couple weeks and already see major improvements on the tightness, pain and soreness that I have been dealing with for years.
My experience with Edge Well has been nothing but great! Lawrence and ToniAnn have been awesome with everything! They are extremely knowledgeable and help you understand your body so you can actually get better. The whole team including Tamara and Audrey are very friendly and helpful!
The office is very clean and nice. They have so much awesome equipment to aid in your recovery! It’s just a great and convenient location.
I honestly didn’t think about doing physical therapy and wellness care but even after a few sessions with them, I’m feeling really good and glad that I decided to go here! These guys can really help you so definitely come check them out!

I work as a massage therapist near the area and had chronic issues with my knee and shoulder and never got the treatment I needed from other places. Within the first assessment they were able to figure everything out and create a program. I even got dry needled which I was skeptical about but it really worked and super excited to keep getting treated highly recommend for athletes!

I’ve had multiple injuries over the years from being a fireman and have seen many PT’s. no one can compare to these guys. friendly smart and straight forward. definitely worth the time and travel if you are in need of psychical therapy. thank you guys for getting me back to work! thank you toniann for making me feel comfortable like it’s my

I got my initial evaluation from Dr. Lawrence Kim for my right shoulder. I had 2 Labrum operations done on my shoulder years ago and it never got progressed. I finally decided to continue physical therapy at Edge Well Physical Therapy because it seemed very different from a traditional pt office that I was used to. They offered a lot of services (using modern technology and treatments) and the environment and aesthetics of the office were top notch and very clean. The doctor will always spends 30 minute manual therapy session with you and he will also make you a customized exercise just for you. You can also use all their amenities such as an infrared sauna, compression boots, hydro massage bed and more upon your visit which puts this office above others. My shoulder felt immediately felt better right after my session. Definitely recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a right physical therapy office who can treat you the right way!

I have had sessions with Dr. Lawrence and ToniAnn; both have given me such valuable information and have really done an amazing job with my target areas. I have already recommended this place to some friends and will continue to recommend it for anybody that needs some help. The clinic has top of the line equipment and they do a really great job working with specifics. Plenty of questions get asked to really understand the patients needs and what they are working with/towards. Do not even hesitate to come here if you feel like you have a problem! Very clean office. All the staffs and Dr. Lawrence were very attentive. He figured out an issue I’ve had with my shoulder for a very long time in a heartbeat. They offer many different amenities such as their amazing infrared sauna and dry needling technique done by Dr. Lawrence. Feel a lot better already. Definitely will recommend this office to all the people who have been to just regular pt offices. This office is very different from your normal pt offices and high end with friendly environment.

I've had nothing short of amazing experience thus far at Edge Well Physical Therapy. I did not have much faith in PT but Dr. Lawrence has completely changed my view. Recently I was diagnosed with Brachial plexus injury and was recommended possible surgery but I decided to give physical therapy a try before making a drastic decision to get spine surgery. I have been seeing Lawrence for a few weeks now and the progress I've made with his treatment has been impressive. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate for his patients' recovery. The facility itself is very beautiful and offers a motivating environment. Staff are welcoming and professional. I can't think of anything negative about the practice.
