I've always felt a deep calling to support others in their journey. Initially, I was on the path to becoming a teacher, but a sudden realization in my final semester shifted my focus towards therapy. Despite never having experienced therapy myself, I knew it was where I needed to be.
I earned my Master's in Counseling from Texas A&M University, Commerce, which equipped me with the skills and knowledge to guide others effectively.
Helping people boost their self-esteem and confidence brings me immense joy. Witnessing someone discover their voice and stand up for themselves is incredibly rewarding.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered techniques, but I understand that each person's story is unique. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where my clients can freely explore their emotions and experiences.
I particularly enjoy working with middle and high schoolers. Drawing from my recent experiences, I find it easier to connect with them, making the therapy process more approachable.
My time in an ABA clinic taught me to remain neutral and composed when faced with challenging situations. From the beginning, I prioritize consent and confidentiality, ensuring my clients feel comfortable and understood.
Beyond my professional life, I enjoy thrifting, reading, and spending quality time with loved ones. Activities like escape rooms, traveling, baking, and board games bring me joy and relaxation.
With a focus on social anxiety and improving communication between children and parents, I'm committed to helping my clients become the best versions of themselves. My varied experiences and genuine empathy make me a trusted partner in their journey toward growth and self-discovery.
