“During my recent visit with Dr Eskalyo, I found that preparation and open communication made a significant difference in the effectiveness of the session. Before the appointment, I took some time to reflect on my recent experiences and wrote down any changes in my mood, sleep, and overall well-being. This helped me articulate my concerns clearly and ensured that I didn't forget to mention anything important during the session. Once in the session, I focused on being as open and honest as possible, even when discussing topics that were uncomfortable. This honesty allowed Dr. Eskalyo to gain a better understanding of my situation and offer more tailored advice. I made sure to ask questions whenever I needed clarification, which helped me feel more confident about the treatment adjustments we discussed. By the end of the visit, I felt reassured and equipped with a clear plan moving forward and addressed in follow-up appointments to monitor my progress. ”

I can honestly say Dr. Eskalyo changed my life . When I first reached out I had hit rock bottom and was having 10+ panic attacks a day. She saw me the next day and my journey began . She helped me get out of an abusive relationship and career I was miserable in . She is very professional and didn’t just tell me what to do but helped me come to conclusions on my own. I now rarely have a panic attack and use the tools she provided me with to get through them when I do . I’m truly living now and I know I wouldn’t have gotten there without her. 100% recommend.
Working with Dr. Eskalyo was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. When I first began therapy, I was weighed down by anxiety and depression that seemed to color every part of my world. But from the very first session, Dr. Eskalyo created a space where I felt seen, heard, and genuinely supported. She didn’t just listen, she understood. She helped me unravel the complex emotions I had kept buried for so long. Her guidance allowed me to challenge the inner critic that fed my anxiety and replace self-doubt with compassion. She provided me with tools that helped me manage and gave me the strength to take small steps on days I felt paralyzed. She helped me recognize that healing isn’t about becoming someone new, but about reconnecting with who I really am , someone worthy of peace, joy, and purpose. I can’t overstate the impact she’s had on my life. Thanks to her I feel more hopeful than I’ve ever been. She didn’t just help me survive, she helped me start living again
I have been a patient of Dr. Lisa Eskalyo for over 7 years; she has and continues to maintain a critical pillar in my life since I initially received services from her. It would be an understatement and disservice to describe her role as simply being supportive and essential in improving my life. She has served as a tactful beacon of a psychological clinician that circumnavigates arduous, ambiguous, multifaceted, intricate challenges with grace, professionalism, efficacy, and understanding. She serves as a guide to assist individuals in introspection, self-reflection, and self-fulfillment. Lisa indirectly leads the patient to formulating their own solutions such that they may flourish and thrive to be their best selves for themselves. She has, in no uncertain terms, truly exceeded beyond the expectations of a psychologist and can bring about significant positive change in your life. If you have any doubt in soliciting her services, I highly suggest having a couple of sessions with her.
Working with Dr. Eskalyo in weekly one-on-one sessions has been an incredibly positive experience. She brings warmth, deep empathy, and thoughtful insight to every session, creating a space where I feel safe, supported, and truly understood. Her guidance has helped me gain clarity, process difficult emotions, and build a stronger connection to myself. She’s always punctual and consistently quick to respond between sessions, which makes me feel even more supported. I’m deeply grateful to work with her—she’s an exceptional therapist and a truly caring human being.
Dr. Eskalyo was the first time in my 30 years of life that I had approached a clinical psychologist, or even thought about needing one. I was at a time of profound crisis in my life. She quickly became an essential part of every week and the crux around much of what I based each week on going forward. While I started in a time of crises, we worked through long-time stressors/issues allowing me to not only get by in the early days, but improve over time and create a more secure and concrete base for myself. I will always be grateful for the work Dr. Eskalyo and I were able to accomplish together. Her consistency and presence week over week was a strong reinforcer of what we had accomplished. She totally changed my view on the benefits of seeing a clinical psychologist and what they can offer and provide to a person. Since seeing Dr. Eskalyo, I have been an advocate for friends and family to pursue similar sessions.
