As human beings, we frequently subject ourselves to harsh self-judgment. While self-criticism has its merits on occasion, it often creates emotional turbulence. Your feelings are valid, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. I utilize an integrative approach of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered, solution-focused, and reality therapy in guidance for you to become a little more vulnerable with yourself to overcome these life obstacles.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I graduated from St. Mary’s University and have 6 years of experience providing mental health services in various settings and populations including working with youth and adults facing unresolved trauma, life transitions, relationship conflicts, divorce, behavioral issues, grief, stress, anxiety, and depression. I help adults facing life transitions/depression/relationships learn to stop being critical of themselves, become more compassionate, vulnerable, and help you navigate life’s complexities with confidence. I use a blend of techniques that help bring the best out of you.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe space for clients. I am direct, challenging, empathetic, humbled, and non-judgmental. My goal is to provide a welcoming environment and work in a therapeutic approach that values a strong therapeutic relationship to help reach your goals. I strive to help empower you to use your own strengths and help you navigate life’s complexities with confidence. You are the expert of your life, this is your journey, and I am honored to be a part of and walk this path with you.
