*I offer both in-person & virtual sessions, as well as free consults.* I know it can be hard to trust someone, especially when the pain you're feeling is so personal and complicated. Whether you're struggling with your own relationship with food or you're here seeking support for someone you care about, I want you to know that you're in the right place. You've already taken a big step by reaching out, and I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, supported, and understood - and that's exactly what I aim to create. I specialize in working with people who have eating disorders like Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. But I also know that these struggles often come with other challenges like mood swings, anxiety, body image issues, and trauma. Together, we can explore your journey, address those fears and pressures, and find the path toward healing, even if it feels impossible right now. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you through these complex challenges with compassion and expertise.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With over five years of experience in leading clinical teams at the Renfrew Center NY, one of the nation’s top eating disorder treatment centers, I’ve worked in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care. I approach every situation with a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive framework, and I’m aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) movement. My ultimate goal is to help you feel seen and supported, so that you can begin to heal and find balance in your life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and baking. If any of this resonates with you, or if you’re ready to take that first step toward support, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out – I’m here to listen, understand, and walk with you every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In therapy, I aim to offer warmth, understanding, and flexibility, adapting my approach to what works best for you. I use evidence-based therapies like Emotion-Focused CBT, DBT, ACT, and Attachment Therapy, always focused on creating a safe space where you can begin to feel more comfortable with change – at your own pace. Healing doesn't mean being perfect, and it's okay to feel scared about making changes. I’m here to help you move through that fear, not force it. I also believe that healing happens in relationship, and I’m committed to working with you, your family, and other providers to ensure you get the most comprehensive, holistic support possible. Whether you’re looking to rebuild trust with your body, manage emotions, or learn how to build stronger, more supportive relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you through it all.
