I work with people who wonder if there might be something wrong with them. They often feel lonely, isolated, and like they never really fit in. This might come from being neurodivergent, growing up in a high-control religion, living in a rigid family system, or feeling more self-aware than those around them. Feeling like the black sheep or like you're somehow different inside is deeply painful and often accompanies anxiety and depression. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University Long Beach, which informs my compassionate and understanding approach to supporting individuals through these challenges.
