What should a new client know about working with you?

What to Expect in Our First Sessions? Our work begins with a Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation. Unlike a standard therapy session, our initial time together is diagnostic and investigative. We will explore: Biological & Neurological Factors: We look at how your brain and body are currently interacting, especially if you are managing Treatment-Resistant Depression or neurodivergence (such as ASD or ADHD). Root Cause Identification: We move beyond surface-level emotions to identify the underlying patterns—whether they be behavioral, cognitive, or relational—that are keeping you stuck. Integrated Treatment Planning: Because I work closely with our medical team, we will discuss how your psychotherapy can be synchronized with medication management for optimal results.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our Clinical Partnership At Hava Oaks, we believe that medication can provide stability, but psychotherapy provides the transformation. In my sessions, you can expect: A Safe Environment: A non-judgmental space for children, adolescents, and adults alike. Evidence-Based Tools: Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic insights to rewire neural pathways. Measurable Progress: We will define clear milestones so you can see your growth over time. I look forward to meeting you and helping you build a life of resilience and purpose.
