Marissa has helped me so much throughout my journey in therapy. It could be really nerve racking to start therapy, but she made me feel comfortable almost instantly. I would absolutely recommend Marissa, she is the best therapist I've had!

It’s hard to find someone to talk to. At least, that’s how it has always been for me. Marissa makes me feel like my opinion matters, no matter how hard I am on myself. I have never felt rushed, not once. She also makes my time matter, and that is very important to me. Most of all, she makes me understand that I, as myself, matter too. I honestly could not recommend a better person. Shes amazing!

I work with busy professionals in their early 20s to mid-40s who struggle with various forms of stress, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, or lack of fulfillment.
I maintain a nonjudgmental environment for my clients and provide psycho-education, coping skills, and management tools to ease negative behaviors. This often includes take-home exercises and handouts.
I additionally assist clients in bringing more awareness to their mind-body connection, which is often overlooked in mental health treatment. My prior experience in forensic psychology, along with a certification in Somatic Experiencing Therapy (SE), provides me with a unique ability to support clients with trauma symptoms.
I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York, New Paltz, which has further equipped me to provide comprehensive care.
