What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began long before graduate school. As a child, I often found myself at the center of playground drama, wondering, "How did I get here?" and "Why is everyone acting the way they are?" That early curiosity about people, relationships, and the stories behind our behaviors stayed with me throughout my life, growing into a deep commitment to providing empathetic, affirming, and culturally responsive care. Now, I value bringing warmth, curiosity, and authenticity to each session, creating a space where patients can better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Psychodynamic work and Mindfulness ground my approach, which is relational, curious, and culturally attuned. I'm passionate about exploring how our experiences shape who we are, and I blend these approaches with evidence-based interventions to support you in creating lasting, meaningful change through insight, connection, self-compassion, and action. In our sessions, you'll find an affirming and compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome. My style is warm, collaborative, and gently challenging, and I tailor our work to your unique experiences, values, and goals.
