About Masumi Dasgupta
Masumi Dasgupta is a licensed Physical Therapist and has 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation. She moved to the States after completing her bachelor's in Physical Therapy from India. Masumi has a Masters in Kinesiology with a major in Exercise Science which really helped in shaping her as a clinician.
Masumi's passion for learning and expanding her skills as a PT led her to participate in a number of continuing education courses and certifications. She has developed a holistic approach to patient care, targeting movement pattern dysfunction and incorporating interventions focusing on achieving the highest level of function possible. Masumi firmly believes that movement is medicine for improving a person's physical and mental well-being.
During her free time, Masumi loves to travel, dance, take on outdoor adventures, spend time with family and friends, and catch up on the latest seasons of her favorite TV shows.

I started my PT with Masumi in June 2024 as recommended by my surgeon, in preparation for rt. knee replacement surgery scheduled for August 2024. The physical therapy sessions with Masumi were EXCELLENT! With progressive muscle strengthening exercises, along with prescribed home exercises from Masumi that she suggested I do every other day...CHANGED MY LIFE! I cancelled my surgery in August, and by December 2024, I no longer had pain or physical limitations caused by my knee. Masumi is very knowledgeable, caring, and is an excellent listener. I could not have had a better physical therapist.

Masumi is an excellent PT- she listens, is observant, and is patient; she helped me through an injury that had effects all over my body, and understood that treating one joint required evaluating & training the whole body. She stuck with me through it all until I was strong enough. I highly recommend working with her!

Masumi is an incredible physical therapist. She was very knowledgable and understanding at every stage of my recovery. Additionally, she was very friendly and had wonderful bedside manner. If I ever require a physical therapist again, I'll be working with Masumi.

She is not only very good on a professional level, but she listens, asks questions relating to client's condition and how feeling; she explains what doing and why; she is compassionate, caring, delightful and always shining.

Masumi is the best therapist I have ever had in 9 months of rehabilitation covering 3 other facilities before I found her. She knows exactly what to do to help resolve my pain and strengthen me. She has me well on my way to walking again. I cannot say enough good things about her. The last 4 months with her have given me most progression by far.
